This is the marquee where we sat, ate pasta, listened to music, and had a lengthy prerecorded speech by Prince Charles inflicted on us. We were divided up into three start times, so this is only a small representation of the 15,000 people who took part. Our big celebrity to kick the event off was Lorraine Kelly. Ooooh!

Our teammate Karen has a handy Womble storage area. She did the full marathon (26 miles) and came in 6th. place over all! The madwoman then went on to run a 5 mile race the next day.
